When my partner and I decided to open The Body Image Boutique of Saddle River, NJ, we knew we needed an expert in the detailed steps it takes to get a company up and running into a successful organization. I was in initial discussions with Beth to engage her for consulting my business in management and operational matters. A friend of hers recommended her so I signed the engagement letter without hesitation. The next thing that happened is her refusing to have a 5 minute call to discuss the scope of engagement. In fact she sent a rather unprofessional email saying that's not her style of consulting. Based on her refusal and inability to discuss the scope of work, and her communication style, it appears she may not be equipped in dealing with higher level business owners. She may be good for a start-up that hires someone no questions asked but I would not recommend her to savvy business owners that have a growing company.
