Do not work with these guys. I made that mistake. I hired them for what should have been a small quick job. I paid 50% upfront. They dragged it out for almost 9 months and then insisted on final payment even though the building department rejected their submissions as incomplete and inaccurate. Another 6 months and continued rejections, they stopped sending me copies bc I told them they were wrong and contained tables and calculations from other properties. I made multiple offers to resolve this but all were rejected, including having a 3rd party hold the payments to be released upon completion. They didn’t return calls and emails. One day I had enough and went to the office after calling 6 times with no call back.
They told me plans were filed but when I checked with the Bldg dept, they stated that they had received nothing.

Please do not engage this company if you are looking for someone who can handle matters professionally and in a timely manner. Aslan takes months to answer basic queries (like the size of a detention tank) and Shahin is never available to address any concerns. I have been trying to call and email for several weeks but have not gotten a response. Everyone was paid in full months ago and that may be the reason why nobody cares. You are better off spending your time and money somewhere else. After waiting for several months, I had to find out directly from DEP that my cross-connection application was never filed. This significantly delayed my project for several months. I am still unable to move into my home because of Badaly engineering.

Shahin and his team are great at reviewing and producing sealed and signed blueprints very quickly while being extremely attentive to any details that need revising on the drawings prior to submitting. Highly recommended firm.

i can't heap enough praise on Shahin and his team. I felt compelled to write this review because he is genuinely good people and has been there to help me out. Last year, i was dealt a proverbial bag of "sh!t when the wall of an adjacent building fell and comprised the structure. I was referred to Shahin by Mohammed from Loyal Construction. Shahin immediately took charge , he devised a plan of action and reached out to NYCDOB on my behalf. He assigned a great young man, Kevin Muene , whom is my assigned engineer and has been with me every step of the way during this unfortunate continuing mess. They have been there for me during the numerous ups and downs with my project. There were also there to represent my best interests against the insurance company. (I have attached a pic) Also, he's not sitting there and nickel-and-diming me with everything that his firm does on my project because he gets it ! He actually works with you and is reasonable. Is everything perfect 100% of the time, no ! But that is the way that life is.

In the end, Shahin and his staff , are there to protect your interests and help your particular situation.

I'm glad that I was referred to Badaly Engineering and I highly recommend them !

I hired Badaly Engineering to build a complicated staircase. I highly recommend this firm for any future renovations. Very professional team, especially Kevin Munene, he is very knowledgeable and very responsive. Any questions that I had, he was quick to answer. I contacted this business to make an appointment to meet with an Architect by the name of Shahin.

It turns out that this business lacks courtesy and any regard for people's time. Shahin did not show up for the appointment and did not apologize for wasting our time. The appointment was for 2PM at my home, at 2:10 I called to speak with Shahin to ask if we were still on. The Office assistant
placed me on hold and then told me that Shahin thought that the meeting was at his office. Then I asked to speak directly with Shahin, and then the office assistant told me that he is "in the middle of something" and requested that we reschedule. UM EXCUSE me, but weren't we supposed to meet from 2-3PM, but all of a sudden you're "in the middle of something"? I'm so disappointed but I'm glad at the same time. When people show you who they are... BELIEVE THEM!! I'll take my wallet elsewhere and I encourage you to do the same.
