Our family came to know the Ashe Rental Agency back in February of this year (2019). Upon contacting their office we received a warm welcome and a inviting relationship with their office team. We first met Heather and she went above and beyond to do everything possible to accommodate our family, she even showed us a home on her off day! She was kind and very helpful with everything she did for us.
Then we met Amber and she made the move-in process as painless as possible! She took care of our family just like she was caring for her very own!
Every time I’ve had a question they have been more than understanding and helpful. After our move-in Amber did everything possible to help us, she worked with the homeowner to make ALL of my requests happen, and she even answered my questions on Saturdays and Sundays when she wasn’t working. Amber and her team have exceeded the 5 star rating in my book, I would give them a 10 star rating if it were possible! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have been renting the house that I live in from Ashe Rental Agency for almost a year now. I recently had to contact them regarding a question that I hear happens in the winter months in the mountains as I am from elsewhere. They happily answered my phone call and had what I needed immediately. I am highly satisfied where I live–and this company has assisted me from the start-from the rental process application to these winter mountain questions and everything in between. The original owner was a good person but our experience was maybe a 2 out of 5 before the new ownership took over. Our experience has been MUCH better since the original owner sold the company and Amber became our main contact at Ashe Rental Agency. Amber is absolutely wonderful ! She is honest and tactful and friendly. She is great at her job. She and the current team for Ashe Rental really do try to work with you to find what you need within your price range.
The only thing holding us back from being a 5 star review is the offerings are limited - more so than what our family is use to dealing with or was expecting. However, we understand Ashe county is a smaller area with less housing available than where we came from.

I would highly recommend Ashe Rental Agency and particularly Amber Shinn! We have leased/rented with other agencies in the past but I have never encountered such a professional and responsive property management company. Our interactions with Amber Shinn have always been extremely impressive because of her incredibly quick responses to any issues we have had! In addition, they obviously vet their owners well before entering into an agreement because the owner of our property has been outstanding, which certainly removes any concern of getting potential issues resolved in a timely manner. I recently rented a property through them and I could not be happier with there services. Heather and amber were professional, very polite and eager to help through the entire process and answered any question I had. They made the process easy and went above and beyond to ensure I had a great move in experience! Since moving in a routine maintenance issue arose and upon contacting Heather she had some one out to fix the problem the next morning. She even did a follow up to ensure the issue had been resolved! I have been a tenant for a few years now. I’ve gotten to know pretty much everyone, including the maintenance team. I have never rented with an agency that is as professional and caring as they are. Anytime I have a question or concern, they get back with me immediately. Anytime I have a maintenance issue, they take care of it immediately and do a wonderful job. I can’t say enough about how much I appreciate them being so good to me. I highly recommend them if you are looking to rent or buy a home in this area.
