It was our first time visiting and honestly we had an incredible experience !!! We got a warm welcome from the owner, he was very hospitable. 🥰 The sliced brisket was so soft and tender, extremely generous amount of meat as well. They gifted my baby a Mac&cheese 🤗

This was my first time at this restaurant. I was excited to try it and it didn’t disappoint! The sliced brisket was tender and flavorful. The fried okra was crispy and well salted. But the real star of the meal was the BBQ sauce. I don’t know if it’s homemade or they buy it, but it’s some of, if not the best BBQ sauce I’ve ever had. I live 16 miles away and would make that drive just for the sauce haha. I heard they’re working on setting up an all you can eat buffet in the near future - would love to go for that. Highly recommend, can’t wait to go back!

Great first time dine in. Got a taste of their gumbo! 🤤 very very good! That’s going to be my next choice when we return. Oh yes, we are definitely going back. We had the loaded baked potato 🥔 with chopped brisket. Yummm. Very clean, nice little gem! 🙌🏻🫶🏻 love it!!!

Order this online and I be mindful of the drive back to my hotel for the temperature.

I got the brisket baked beans coleslaw and Mac and cheese.

Brisket was tasty and tender. Bbq sauce was amazing that came with the dish. Coleslaw has amazing flavor!
Baked beans were ok and the Mac and cheese could use more oomph! I’m not a fan of the white bread but if it came with corn bread that would have big a plus for me. I’ll definitely make sure to eat inside next time.

Literally came back the next day with my little one I got a picture this time of my food before I dug in. Once again what an incredible experience all around Thank you Andy the food, service and atmosphere was 5/5 wish I could give it a 10!!

Food is delicious. the Sliced brisket was so tender, the ribs were also good. Mac and cheese and mustard Potato salad were my sides and they were great! The armadillo eggs were awesome. The lady at the register could’ve been nicer, but this place is a hidden gem

One of the best barbecue restaurants in Houston. Old time atmosphere, but modern. I ordered the three meat BBQ platter. It ran about $18.99 plus Dr. Pepper(20oz). The food was fresh. My sides were turnup-greens, pinto beans, and french fries were hot when served. Had opportunity to meet the owner, Mr. Andy. Friendly staff! Thank you for your service to our country, by serving in the US Marine Corps. If you’re ever in Houston, it’s worth your time to stop by Andy’s Hawg Wild Bar-b-que.

In the very short time that I've known Andy and his team, they've become like family. The ribs and BBQ sauce are AMAZING and the staff goes above and beyond to deliver a truly quality product and experience. All that, combined with the fact that this an SBA certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, means there's no reason not to support this place and give it a try if you haven't already.
