Unfortunately, I've had extreme difficulty communicating with this organization. The gym I was attended was good, but I had to stop due to an arthritic condition. I see that many others have had challenges working with this company. If I had known they would be managing the billing for the gym I was attending, I likely would have gone elsewhere. I hung up on a few minutes ago when I asked to have copies of the policies associated with my account. Stopping payments should not be a seemingly impossible task. Please see other reviews I've posted. A one-star rating is very uncommon from my account.

After a very disappointing and rude interaction with Brandon ext:112. I looked up this company and see that he’s been allowed to be rude to people over the last several years. From just what I’ve read it sounds like I had a similar interaction as past clients. Obviously their training is less than adequate, although you can’t train someone to be empathetic. Maybe one day the company will look into all the complaints towards him and actually do something about it.
For now, I am just wanting to call back next week. To discuss with the manager how I will supposably be continuously billed every month if I do not pay for this month, after cancelling last month.

Beware!!! They harass you constantly after your contract is over. They refuse to stop payments when you request it. I received a call from someone who didn’t introduce himself, but proceeded to tell me I’m responsible to continue make payments even though my son is no longer attending the class. They never sent me a letter they claimed to send stating I needed to send a written cancellation. I sent a written and verbal cancellation but was constantly receiving calls to pay them. Horrible customer service.

The rudest, nastiest, and unprofessional company I have ever dealt with! I'm canceling my son's classes (there is a fee to cancel and I'm fine with that), the instructor/owner called to tell them to cancel as did I . When I called again I was told I needed to send the contract to them to prove I can cancel, and that they have never talked to me or the owner...ever! Even with the contract I've sent, the owner calling them, and many calls they still will not cancel. I will never do business with anyone who uses this company, they are con artists.

Horrible place!!! They will call and harass you because you don't have the money to pay them. Never once I was told that I can cancel my daughter's contract within 30 days but yet told that I had to pay to cancel the contract. The people that work there are soooooo damn rude especially Brandon. He talks to you like you owe him the money. If it is possible I would love to see him fired. Everyone there need to take a class on professionalism and better customer service because it seem like they have anybody working there.

I spoke to the owner of Martial Arts World Clover Hill - 13910 Hull Street Rd, Midlothian, VA Jessica Cross about my almost 14-year-old wanting to try martial arts. I asked if there were other middle school students in the after-school classes. She told me there were 11. She said each day after school my son would receive an hour-long martial arts lesson. I asked what the cancellation policy is if it doesn't work out. She said it was a weekly draft and just to let her know. None of this was true in my experience.

My son started and it was not age-appropriate martial arts lessons. He was put in a class with very young children that were struggling to follow strict rules. He stood there while young children were put back in lines and corrected over and over. They were constantly being punished for not listening. Punishments included hitting them with the items that were meant for kicking and taking the kids outside on the hot pavement to do push-ups. Many young children would cry. Very little martial arts instruction took place.

I tried to contact Jessica many times to see if there was a way to provide my son age-appropriate martial arts lessons. She never responded so I wrote to them that I had to cancel as this was not martial arts lessons for a teenager.

Now I am receiving constant calls from AMS telling me that I am not paying for lessons. I told them I had cancelled because I was not getting what I had paid for. They continue to harass me to pay for lessons I have not received and threaten collections. I even paid for an extra week after I cancelled. If they continue to harass me, I will be seeking a refund for the dollars I did pay as they did not provide the services promised.

Martial Arts World should apologize for the lack of communication, acknowledge that it was not a good fit, and be more forthcoming in the future with older students considering their after-school program. AMS should stop the almost daily harassing calls insisting I pay for services not delivered.

Getting a bill after they received a copy of my military orders and request to cancel contract. No follow up calls to explain why am I responsible for 4 months after the date of the orders!
There is apparently a disconnect between the company and the school(s) they represent.
Update: 05 nov 19: issue finally resolved thanks to a lady named Lisa.
Still, should've been a clear cut resolution, not take 7 months to resolve, due mainly of no follow up calls from company

Refused to cancel my contract after the death of a family member which caused me to inherit more financial obligation. Be careful, because my instructor did not explain to me that there is no cancellation policy. I've never even heard of a contract that doesn't have a cancellation policy of any type. Make sure you read carefully. Absolutely ridiculous. I don't even go anymore.
