Alice Stribling does a great job in the very challenging and complicated area of supporting seniors who need assistance with Medi Cal and nursing home issues. She has very detailed knowledge for assessing prospective client’s situations and Medi Cal eligibility issues; and the expertise and experience to help them through the process. Alice was highly recommended to me, and I am very glad that I sought her services for my 90 year old father’s Medi Cal application. He is in a nursing home. She really knows the intricate details of state policy and how to avoid costly mistakes – for both my Dad and my Mom as well. Even though I am fairly comfortable in the medical/insurance area, I was very glad to have her submit the application and handle the follow up requests with the Medi Cal staff. Alice also has years of experience in the Redding area and has a good feel for the local nursing home environment.

Since I don’t live in Redding, it was particularly helpful to have Alice ‘on the job,’ and she gladly met with my Mom and Sister as necessary. Her staff is courteous and efficient and was timely in all communications. I really enjoyed working with Alice and her team and frankly I don’t know what I would have done without her efforts and expertise.

We needed to place our mother in a long term facility and there was a business with a living trust involved. Alice was one of the only people around to help with qualifying our mother for medi-cal. We were told we had to get the process done in a month. We jumped through ALL the hoops that Alice asked of us. In fact it’s almost a year later and we jumped through the hoops numerous times. Alice continually dropped the ball to the point where Medi-cal Hearings office started getting a hold of us because Alice wouldn’t answer the phone or call back. We were denied 2 times because of Alice Stribling’s neglect of paperwork. We had called Alice numerous times on what to do with the money from a sale of property with no response. We put the money in the wrong account thinking we were doing the right thing.Now it’s almost a year later and we ended up paying the long term care facility due to placement of 2500.00 in a wrong account because Alice didn’t have time to help. If things were done in a timely fashion like we were told in the beginning this would not have happened. We found out later that Alice has not been efficient with other clients. It’s pretty bad when Medi-cal feels bad for you due to Alice’s blunders. Our mom passed away in August but thank God she did or we would never have been able to pay the long term facility bill. That sounds terrible but it’s true. PLEASE WARN OTHERS!!!!
