Mary and her team did a fabulous job on our house! The remediation job was quite extensive. But, Mary's knowledgeable and caring personality helped us navigate a very difficult situation. After the job was complete, we hired a neutral third party to conduct a post remediation test. The company was so impressed with the quality of the work in our house, they wanted to know the name of the company that completed the work. Now, that says a lot! Let me start with a warning: MANY 'mold remediation' companies know NOTHING about mold even though they think they do, and will not do the job safely, no matter what they convince you of. They will take your money and you will end up with recurring mold and health issues. We spoke to about 6 other companies before we found AirCare and we knew instantly that they were the real deal. They knew what they were talking about and truly cared. Mary, Victor, and the entire team were literally a DREAM come true. They went above and beyond x100 and I cannot even imagine trusting anyone else. They were so knowledgeable, timely, professional, kind, helpful, down to Earth, and fun!! They knew exactly what to do, worked SO hard, did our entire mold remediation job (and it was a big, nasty job) with so much attention to detail and care for our health and our belongings. There is NOT EVEN A COMPARISON between this team and other remediation companies. I cannot believe how hard they worked, how communicative and transparent they were, how absolutely thorough and careful they were, and how quickly they got this HUGE job done (in our case it was a full gut). I truly feel that for the same cost as other companies, we found a company that did a 10X better job. Through the whole process we had zero stress because they were so capable and trustworthy and hustled so hard for us. They also were there for us before and after the process as a resource. Do yourself a favor and use Mary and Victor for all your mold work.

Let me start out by just saying if you have a mold problem and need some serious help, AirCare is the answer to your prayers. They are the most professional, thorough, thoughtful, and honestly delightful company i've ever worked with. To encounter a company like this when your house is being devoured by mold is frankly life changing.

Our own little mold nightmare started when we discovered a leak in the bathroom. I thought it was just a little drip leak in the basement, but it turned out to be a leak from inside the shower wall and running all the way down into the basement. A plumber came and tried to take a look but hey weren't much use. I spoke to a local remediation company and they recommended a local remediation guy who they said could take care of a small issue like this. The guy came and pulled apart half the bathroom and sprayed some stuff. The red flag should have been that he wasn't wearing a mask, or using any kind of air scrubber or any attempt at containment. While looking at the area, i noticed some flecks of mold in the basement on the ceiling, no problem he said and he sprayed them too.

At this point we were hoping to be all set. But to be safe we had a local inspector come and do mold tests. Well, it turns out we had a HUGE mold problem. The levels in the basement were 17x the maximum safe levels for indoor environments. And as we went on to learn 60% of that air travels up into the rest of the house.

It quickly became apparent that we needed a serious company to take care of this. I researched and googled my brains out, and kept coming back to AirCare. They had so many good reviews I figured I'd give them a call and scope them out. I called and spoke to Victor, who immediately made me feel good about them. He was clearly passionate about what he does, and you could tell he really cared. Fast forward a few days and the AirCare assessor (and business owner) Mary came to the house to do a walk through. She was incredible; knowledgable, patient, thorough, and a pleasure to deal with. She spent around 3 hours in our house walking through the whole property identifying mold and mold related issues. We knew this was the company we wanted to work with immediately.

The job was a large one, they cleared a dumpster full of old paneling and cabinetry from the 60's from the basement and treated the whole space, as well as cutting back large areas of both bathrooms and cleaning those too, not to mention treating every surface in the main living area. Given the amount of work involved, and the specialist knowledge required to do this job *safely*, the pricing felt reasonable. For us the priority was doing this right, and feeling we could trust the team doing it.

The team got to work about a week or so later. They were fast, efficient, and thorough. Victor who was coordinating the on-site workers was an absolute joy to deal with. They truly went above and beyond to make sure the job was done well and we felt safe and happy.

Mold can be scary, and in fact it's had a large impact on our health, but I'll just say that working with AirCare turned out to be such a pleasant experience, at a time of anxiety and panic, their expertise and professional approach helped keep us calm and secure in the knowledge that they genuinely had our best interests at heart. They were so clearly there to do a good job, not just check boxes and move on, and that's exactly what you need in a situation like this.

Victor and his team did an outstanding job resolving all the issues in our basement. Despite discovering more mold and problems than anticipated, they went above and beyond, completing the extra cleanup work without charging us for the additional effort.
