You will not get the real world rope access training that you get from Doug and Vertical Consult ANYWHERE else in the industry. I've been in rope access for 11 years and this is the only place I will go to train for my certifications. Doug is a great guy and a very knowledgeable trainer. Class act through and through. He doesn't just know rope access, he participates in the discussions held at the highest levels of the industry to shape the future of sprat. Don't think twice, this is the place you want to go for your rope access certification.

I have been in the working at heights for over half a decade.
I have been through multiple rounds of contain, Nwsa, rescue and various other related training and never have I ever been through a more thorough training program.
Doug is very knowledgeable, and takes every opportunity to ensure that anyone that comes through his class has the knowledge required to succeed in the rope access world.

1000% worth the investment to be trained by one of the best instructors any Rope Access Technician could ask for. I have just completed my level 1 sprat. And I feel very confident and capable with my new found abilities and skills. Doug (the instructor) told the class from day one. He is on our time. If we needed anything to let him know. If he neededbto stay until 9:00 at night so you can build your confidence in a skill that's okay. Not once was I asked to pick up any gear or cleanup after the class was over. all I had to was focus on the days lesson plans and practice the skills learned. I could go on about how great the course is but in all honesty the only reason I gave 5 stars is because 10 wasn't available.

I went there in October to go from SPRAT level 2 to 3.
Doug is a great trainer, obviously extremely knowledgeable. He has a great amount of experience and involvement in such organizations as the NFPA and SPRAT. I'd highly recommend this training facility to anyone looking to get into rope access. The area that they are located is beautiful with tons of things to do, nice hotels and good restaurants.
