Daniel has been my accountant since 2016 and he is the best in the buisness in Gadsden. He know the ins and outs of medical practice accounting. That comes from his past experience. Very professional, prompt and responsive. Chad has been phenomenal addition to his team two years ago. I would highly recommend Daniel and his tam without any reservation but he may not be able to accommodate new clients as he is very sought after accountant in town.

This company is responsible for payroll deductions for a local dentist office. When my wife went to work for said company she had to fill out the new W-4 which changed in 2020. She completed the form as she had in the past. Unbeknownst to use there were some changes we were not aware of. We went to file our 2021 taxes and found that not nearly enough federal tax was taken out of her pay. Ok fair enough we understood there was an issue, however when we tried to call their office our call was not returned. In fact instead Brittany (Boatner and Pugh's payroll clerk) texted my wife's office manager and said she could not discuss her W-4 with us . All we wanted was someone to help us understand where we went wrong. When my wife was finally able to get on the phone with Chad Smith he was completely unprofessional. He said and I quote "It's not my job to give out financial advice regarding payroll deductions. I don't have time to deal with you or your husband."

I am happy to say that where I work we have a professional and very helpful CPA that found time to discuss her W-4 with us and we were able to make the necessary changes to make sure we don't find ourselves in this situation again come tax time. That's right my work payroll guy helped my wife at her job with her payroll deductions while these guys at Boatner and Pugh continue to get paid for their "services." Thanks a lot Chad and Brittany.
