Property manager here is amazing here! My boyfriend lives here and had an inspection while he was deployed. The property manager was so friendly and helpful. The inspection time frame was pretty much all day, which is the case anywhere you rent from. Since I do not live with my boyfriend and I had to work that day, the property manager went out of her way to call me to give me a heads up when she was on her way so I didn’t have to schedule a full day off at work (boyfriend has cats so someone had to be there while they were doing the inspection). I greatly appreciate a good property manager as they tend to be hard to come by. Thank you for going above and beyond!

Cassandra was the nicest and most efficient RE Agent we have ever had the pleasure of working with. She went above all expectations in searching out just what we were looking for and even provided us with on site video tours of houses we were truly interested in but could not find the time to get to. In fact we purchased a house after one if her video tours. Cassandra provided us with mortgage company, insurance company and inspection company that did the engineering report for the house. Her tireless efforts were greatly appreciated as we had to shop long distance from New York. If you are looking to find the perfect new home we strongly recommend Cassandra and Anchor Real Estate.

Appalling Customer Service – Zero Compromise, Zero Respect
My experience with Anchor Properties was an absolute disaster from start to finish. Their lack of professionalism, complete disregard for customer service, and unwillingness to compromise made an already stressful relocation as a service member infinitely worse.
From the moment I left the area, they made unauthorized changes to my property’s showing settings, switching it to auto-show without my consent. When I requested they return it to the agreed-upon 24-hour notice for time being until I settled at new location, they acknowledged my request but failed to act for two days—a clear sign that my concerns were not a priority.
Despite my valid security concerns for a vacant home, Anchor Properties refused to work with me on keeping an active alarm system. Even though multiple realtors and property managers confirmed that using a temporary or guest code for showings was standard practice, Anchor refused to compromise. Instead, they insisted that I disable and rearm the system myself before every showing—completely ignoring the fact that I was stationed across multiple time zones and dealing with the chaos of a military move.
Their inflexibility didn’t stop there. They continually pressured me to lower the rental price to a level I was not financially comfortable with especially considering cost associated with a military move, covering mortgage and a separate rent at new location, disregarding my concerns entirely. And when they decided to terminate our agreement, they attempted to do so without the contractually required 30-day notice. It was only after I threatened legal action that they begrudgingly followed the contract—further proving their utter lack of professionalism.
But the final insult? When their employee came to retrieve their lockbox at the end of our contract, they kicked aside and opened the door over my American flag. I have no idea how the flag ended up on the porch in the first place, but their blatant disrespect for both my property and a symbol of our country—especially toward a service member—was absolutely disgraceful.
Anchor Properties has demonstrated a complete failure in customer service, zero willingness to compromise, and absolute disregard for the challenges faced by military personnel executing a move. DO NOT trust this company with your property. Their lack of integrity, professionalism, and respect is astonishing—save yourself the stress and go elsewhere

We’ve been with Anchor since I got orders in December of 2022. And I have absolutely 0 bad things to say about Ashlea Stitt who has been a great help with everything from start to moving out! Anchor has not only been quick to get any maintenance done on the property we lived at (to include all new shingles) but Ashlea has always made the time to answer any and all questions and made the sudden move out process run so smoothly with the last minute move out request we put in due to me being medically retired and moving back home. I can’t speak for the non-military renters but if you have orders to NC and need a place quick then Anchor is the place to go!
