I have had the pleasure of working with Bell Realty since 2006. I have had absolutely zero issues with them. Rhonda, Edith, Molly, Ajay, Alex B, Mimi, ect have been truly wonderful. They have worked with me and I worked with them to make sure my rent was paid each month. As long as you make them aware of issues they will help you. When my mother moved to Goldsboro in 2015, Bell again helped us to find the house we are currently in. Its the best neighborhood and the perfect house for us, i can't thank them enough for that! I only wish that I could give more than 5 stars as they absolutely have earned it! If you need a Realty Company to work with, please contact Bell Realty they are the best!

I've been renting from John T Bell Realty for about 3 yrs now. I've only had a few minor issues but every time I call, they are very respectful and responsive to the issue. Rhonda, the property manager, is extremely upbeat and helpful. I really enjoy her positive personality. Great place to rent from.

John Bell Reality has been a great rental agency. The ladies in the office are extremely patient and helpful. I won't lie we had a ton of problems with the house we rented (no fault of the rental company) and for the most part they always sent someone right out and tried to fix the problem. Mark their handyman is awesome and always does a great job. As far as move out goes we made sure the house was well cleaned, the carpets were cleaned, and the lawn was taken care of. If you follow the cleaning check list you will be fine. They gave us our full deposit back without any issues. I would highly recommend this rental company.

Rating a one star because zero is not an option. Rhonda (Rental manager) is awful.

Upon doing our check list , we noted a few things that we assumed would be fixed . (loose electrical outlets in every room, things left from the "cleaning crew" and just a few other things.).
After moving in and starting to clean and settle in, we noticed a few things even what appeared to be mold about the stove. Paint cans left behind the hot water heater, a running toilet and quite a bit more things.
We contacted the office and a few things were fixed. But the "clean up" we were told we had to do ourself to avoid issues We cleaned it .
well we had another issue not sure of what it was but when I contacted the office Rhonda's reply to me was it seems as though you aren't happy if you aren't you can leave and I will terminate the lease. What manager would respond to a tenant concern in that manner. Shortly after that conversation we just noticed simple harassment actions such as her riding by our home sending emails and sending letters that did not apply to us or our situation. We had to call them out to fix our freezer which stop working ,the guy that came out was with Quality Plumbing which is tied in with them and they halfway fix the issue. A week or so later the same issue had surfaced again. We also had an issue with the toilet continuing to run which made our water bill go from $60 to 300 dollars when they were called out to fix the issue they replace the flap which didn't fix the problem. I called the office again to fix the issue they came back out and fix the handle which did not fix the issue when I asked for the invoice to send in to the city to have a reduction in my bill I never received it . When we moved ,we received an email stating where our deposit went and it was ridiculous. We got charged $115 for a cleaning fee when the house was cleaner than what it was when we moved in . we were charged $115 for a carpet cleaning fee when the carpet was not dirty. we received a $125 fee for trash take out and some other charges which conveniently equaled up to our deposit. this is the worst real estate company you could ever rent from and I wish I would have read the other reviews before going here. if you want to have to pay Exterminating fees, extremely high water bills, deal with electrical issues , have to settle for appliances 10 + years old, deal with rude people, &be harassed this is the perfect place for you.

Excellent honest service, highly recommend John T Bell realty! They have managed my property for 16 yrs and have always done a great job. If there was an issue, they always took care of it. They make sure to hire quality contractors when repairs are needed. Always available to answer my questions and get back to me on a timely manner. I choose to stay with them for 16yrs, highly recommend them!

We rented our first home through John bell realty and any issues we had with the house were always dealt with very quickly. Ajay and Mimi are always very helpful and friendly. We just moved out of the house last month and recieve our full deposit refund. We will be renting from them again!

Upon moving out, we were overcharged for security deposit payments. In all actuality we left the house looking better than it did when we moved in. Somehow they were able to spend all the security deposit money on things that were expressly written on the move-in inspection sheet. If it were enough money to be worth a lawyer then I would do so in a heartbeat. Don't rent from here, don't even think about it. They may seem nice when they are taking your money, but definitely not nice when it comes time for them to give money back.

I can’t say enough good things about this company especially Alex B.

I was suppose to relocate to Goldsboro for a new job and they were able to find me an amazing house on short notice to rent and even did a FaceTime tour since I was not local and did not have time to see the house in person. After a few turn of events they job fell through so I had to say no to the job and house only to say yes to it again a few days later. They were able to still offer me the house after the headache I caused them.
