In my particular case/job they ignored the type of course sand that was specified to use as back fill in the design and stated in the permit and stated by Pender county during the on site meeting. They tried to use a poor quality fine grained sand with silt that I had personally tested. My soil was severely compacted, if the poor quality fine grained sand wasn't caught before they tried to sneak it in the system would have surely failed again. They also didn't hand rake the area when the drain field was put in, they didn't remove all the debris from the site, and they didn't remove all the fill dirt put on the ditch to get the trucks on and off the site as stated from RSC Engineering. I can't speak for everyone but you can be assured I will never use or recommend RSC Engineering.

Great guys helped us out of situation of failed pump that Dobson Septic installed and wouldn't respond for service.
Brian took phone call and information and somewhere next day and finished job in a hour correctly too. Thanks RSC and Matt

My pump went out and I had some random budged place charge me $500 just to install a used pump. It went out 2 months later and RSC engineering gave me a brand new Septic pump, new floats, and a panel for a similar price. And I have a 3 year warranty with it. Matt was the guy who did it and he kept all this under an hour so I was only charged for one hour labor. Thanks matt.

This is our first time owning a home with a septic system, so when our overflow alarm went off, it was immensely concerning. This company was so responsive, caring, offered potential solutions, and had THE BEST customer service. They were patient with our nerves and didn’t over quote, over charge, or offer services we didn't need. Lucky for us, it was an easy fix, one we learned a lot from. I highly recommend this company. Great service from start to finish!!!

175 dollars for a five minute service call of which the invoice described “attempted to adjust drain valves” for a septic system that was pooling in the yard. This is a small cover in the front yard with three valves that are turned by hand…that they attempted… to adjust. I mean, when you read that, and then think, 175 bucks? I bet they at least were able to adjust the lines right? Nope, why adjust the lines when you can make that kind of money just attempting it? Not even really mad at em’. Just jealous really. All these years watching Shark Tank, thinking one of these days I’m gonna find that thing, that one thing that everyone needs and really be financially independent and have the freedom that comes with it. Nah, new business idea: Tell people I can fix anything (why limit yourself to just septic systems), set a minimum assessment fee, deem it unrepairable or caused by the customer, and then expect payment or send the customer to collections. I mean I wouldn’t even have to worry about bad reviews or repeat business right…?
I’m willing to bet that $175 check gets cashed just fine. Well done RSC!!!

These people are not honest people! A huge rock flew out the back of one of their trucks and I couldn't flag the driver down so I called the company thinking they would do the right thing and cover the huge crack it put in my windshield which they refused to do! If they would do that with a sound mind, I wouldn't trust them!
