We've visited the OBX area for the past 15 years or so. We stated in Corolla, then migrated to Nags Head. We stayed in Corolla twice and Nags Head 3 times renting houses during those stays. Now we have an RV and on this trip in March 2025 we decided on the Kitty Hawk RV Park. Location is great and even being so close to the main highway and RT12, the RV park is quiet. Our biggest complaint is there are no side walks. We are retired, so we are north of 65 and use an ebike and an eTrike to move around when we are parked with our RV. Having no sidewalks or convenient access to the bike trails on OBX was disappointing. I recommend Kitty Hawk make their town pedestrian safe. Crossing the Croatian Highway, even with a cross walk and traffic lights, many vehicles including a US Postal service delivery truck ignored our "walk" light and cut us off in the cross walk. Kitty Hawk is unsafe for pedestrian traffic!

My wife and I used the co-working space for a few days while we visited family in the area but couldn't take PTO. The office was set up well with a lot of room. Wifi was spotty the first day but we didn't have any problems after that. We plan on reserving time there again if we need to.

The building is small and hidden. The stairs in the front are not mobility friendly. Once inside, it is dark, cramped, appears dirty and smells lightly of mildew. The person behind the barrier was on the phone the entire time I was there, completely ignored me, and had a laugh out loud, overly personal conversation, with a person on the phone during the 15 mins I was in the building.

To their credit, there is some organization to the business shown, making it easy for any person to find what they were looking for. However, as a female of average height, even on my toes, I could not reach pamphlets that interested me on the top. I also did feel comfortable interrupting the person who was so into their phone call; they didn't notice that I was there.

I wouldn't go back there unless I absolutely had to. It really felt like a waste of time. I got better recommendations asking other business owners than I did in that place.

Didn't know where to put this. Current tourist. Loving Kitty Hawk right now, but something needs to be done about the water. It might be "safe to drink," but it's disgusting. Can't even enjoy coffee in this town. Bottled water only from here on out.
