Canât say enough about Marchetti Consulting Engineers - but I can and certainly will try! When my husband and I bought our first home several years ago, we were, like many first time buyers, naive and woefully unaware of all the due diligence that should be done before making the largest purchase of our lives. Unfortunately we learned a very difficult lesson - that the home we had planned to immediately move into and raise our growing family in was neither safe nor structurally sound. We were devastated! Though we pursued several legal routes, we only ended up further disappointed and in a great deal more debt. Worse, we still had no clear path forward given the extensive damage we uncovered in the house, which included: discovering one end of the home had sunk over 25 inches, that a secondary foundation was poured in an attempt to arrest further sinking and that poor materials like creosote treated railroad ties (toxic if there was ever a fire) and pieces of shim were added to hold it together. Also, the frame of the home was loose and one opposing wall was wracked as the foundation shifted and pulled over time. This house wasnât just unsafe it was dangerous. Though we had many skilled and intelligent specialists consult with us it seemed more and more like a lost cause. It wasnât until Zach and Josh Marchetti of MCE reviewed our project and really worked with us to understand our needs and our goals - not only with the house but as a family. They were caring, empathetic and nothing short of professional. They put together a comprehensive plan to help us put the house back together. From a full piling system to a new foundation, to addressing and securing the frame - we couldnât have asked for better partners. I feel blessed to have had these gentlemen come into our lives and it is because of their expertise, their time and effort in making sure the construction went as expected, that I know my family will be safe living in this house. Thank you both so very much for that comfort! Itâs been a long road for our family but with you, I know that the road forward is now solid, sound and built to last. We won't go anywhere else for our engineering needs.

Zach and Josh couldnât be more down to earth. They are genuinely good men and whatâs more - theyâre good at what they do!
