Highly recommend, if I could give 10 stars I would! Joe and Martha and their staff have handled our LLC and personal taxes since we opened our company seven years ago along with Martha setting up up quick books for us. Would never ever contemplate going anywhere else. Very attentive, don’t leave you hanging with questions and are the utmost in professionalism and knowledge! Have used others in past but by far Joe has outshined all others. Will NEVER trust another to touch our taxes! This past year I sold my home of 30 years in Washington, DC and purchased a new home in South Carolina and relocated in the first quarter of 2018. For many years, I had managed the household finances and taken care of taxes. Being faced with the new tax rules for 2018, a sizeable capital gains bill from proceeds from the sale of property and part-year state taxes for two states, I recognized I needed help and began the search for a CPA. I obtained a recommendation to contact the Castellanos in Myrtle Beach. I spoke with Joseph Castellano a couple of times on the phone and made an appointment to see him in his office where he provided great advise as to what documentation was needed and timelines for completing the filing of Federal and state taxes. Joe put me immediately at ease; I felt very comfortable with his style, his knowledge of capital gains and left the meeting confident that he could assist me with a quality job. I left the meeting with a list of the documentation needed to justify financial figures and file timely. Since that meeting, Joe has been extremely responsive in answering my questions. If you are looking for a CPA in the Grand Strand, I highly recommend Joseph R.Castellano.
