My experiences working with Cindy and the team at Go-Pro Tax & Accounting have been remarkable and EXTREMELY satisfactory since day one. I first met Cindy in training to become a Public Notary in Mecklenburg County, NC and hired her and this team to handle my taxes in 2015– and haven't stopped since!
We have both moved locations and endured a pandemic (plus hundreds of miles) and there is still nobody that I feel as comfortable with when it comes to SAFELY and EFFICIENTLY getting me squared away with Uncle Sam.

I will be forever grateful and indebted to Cindy for getting me out of the pickles that she has in previous years, and I am happily scheduling a check-in call after completing this review! <3

Long read but worth it . See screen shots attached of the last conversation I had with their office. This is just a snippet of how this business operates. There were issues of having to give information like EIN multiple times . Confusing partners within the same business social security numbers. Listing assets wrong. Clearly not reading the reports sent over for all the businesses. Not following through on what they said they would. There is suppose to be a triple check system in place among their office, so nothing gets missed but clearly that’s not true. Extremely disorganize. God only knows if my actual filed taxes are correct . GO ELSEWHERE !!!!!

Hands down these guys are the best. So much so my family in Maryland uses them as well as several of other faimly members and friends. I live 4 hours for Cindy and would never think of having any one else do my taxes and accounting work.

This was to be my wife's and I second year using Go-Pro Tax and Accounting it will now also be our last. The first year we found Ms Cindy to be very on top of everything and full of information. This year has been a total disappointment to say the least.
We turned in all we new to turn in by February 19th and concluded the email by asking if there was anything else she needed from us. The next response was February 23rd when received notification that she had updated the account files. March 10th again I reached asking if there was anything Ms Cindy or her team needed to complete our taxes all I received back was an automatic response thanking me for my message and telling me I could call if need be which I did many times throughout the process.
March 19th I reach out yet again asking if there was anything they required and what the status of our taxes were to which again I received the automated response and then finally a response from Me Cindy saying that our files were on her desk and she was reviewing them.
March 24th roles around and still no update from the 19th so again I send an email asking if there is anything I can, or need to do again automated reply ones back.
March 31st notification of added account for my wife's partnership for business has been set up (taxes for her business were due on the 16th which we didn't know at the time nor were we advised to request an extension). At this point I am trying to limit my calls to once a week and the times I do get through to someone I am told my files are either being worked on or reviewed.
April 12th again I send an email asking if anything is required of us and finally on the 13th received notification that the 8879 was ready for signing. April 15-20th more notification of documents to sign which were signed promptly and returned.
Finally on April 26th we were able to review our Taxes with Ms Cindy but then it would not be till the next week that taxes for my wife's partnership business would be filed over a month late.
Currently we are looking at being fined for filling late due to the neglect and lack of communication received from Go-Pro Tax & Accounting.
Yes I have the emails and date stamped call logs to back my claim should anyone try denying what I say is true.

Not good at all. Grossly overcharged me for the sloppiest bookkeeping I have ever witnessed . If I had just let them handle it 100% with no oversight , I would def have gotten audited . According to their number my income was double what I had received. It looked like scrambled eggs on my P&L. Horrible . No go tax and accounting! B.Moore

Paid Cindy to do my books for 11 months - she did not reconcile them completely. She charged me for services a year that she did not actually perform. Does not answer emails. Confirms things over the phone and does not follow through. Books and returns are a complete mess and will take weeks and lots of money to fix correctly.
