We had a horrible experience with Mr. Allen and his staff. First, because my daughter did not make a lot of money he started not to take her as A client saying that it was “ not worth his time. “When he realized we may pick him up as a potential employer, and we make substantially more money he agreed to do hers. She knew what she was asking for. She wanted a CPA She has used to CPAs in the past and is comfortable with them.
He requires his clients to file an extension because he cannot get the work done in a timely manner. He requires his clients agree, not to make any financial decisions without talking to him.
When they filed her extension, they filed it with the wrong Social Security number and had to call her back to find out her Social Security number which She had written for them and confirmed but they sent in incorrectly.
They finally, called saying they were missing ONE paper for her. Why would they say they were missing one paper if they did not have any? June when we called to see when they were going to finally file her paperwork , they did not have any of her paperwork. The Calabash office sends all of their work to Fayetteville which they did not tell us.
Not sure how legal it is to transport people’s financial papers without telling them. They do this for ALL clients.
We have in writing the dates he was given the paperwork. We also have in writing Where his office said the paperwork was in Calabash. His response was so you say, and he hung up on me.
They LOST her paperwork. Did not file her taxes and took Zero responsibility!
The whole office is very unprofessional. I would never, never,never use this office. I hope we get our paperwork back which we have requested. Now they are not answering our phone calls or emails
