I cannot recommend Maximum K9 and our trainer Rosemarie enough! Our experience with their “board and train” training program has been nothing short of transformative. Before starting, my dog struggled with obedience and felt anxious in public settings. Thanks to Rosemarie's expertise and dedication, my dog is now extremely obedient and well-behaved. Additionally, my dog’s personality has become so much more outgoing and personable with his new found confidence.

The training methods were not only effective but also tailored to my dog’s specific needs, making the process enjoyable for both of us. It’s heartwarming to see my dog enjoying outings with us, as he is now more relaxed and confident in public spaces.

I highly recommend Maximum K9. After meeting with Joe, we chose the board and train. Our dog (Skippy) was experiencing excitement jumping when greeting people home and in public places, pulling issues on walks and getting his attention when trying to correct him. I cannot say enough about Rosemarie's experience, patience and dedication to Skippy's issues and working with us to correct these concerns. Also, meeting in public places and the at home visits really helped in his surroundings. We will definitely continue with Lifetime classes to keep him on track and continue to work with any issues that need correction or may develop. The entire experience was satisfying and rewarding. Entire staff from front desk to back was helpful and friendly. We appreciate Maximum K9's devotion to dogs.

Awesome training with Morgan and overall great experience for my Rottweiler Bully dog mix, DJ. Loves going to the facility and is exhausted by the end with a great training. Improved on paying attention with distractions and improved on overall commands. Big difference when walking and going to into stores. Explained on how to pay attention to him to make him successful and shield him to let him know not to worry and that I'm in control. Can't wait to continue the lifetime group classes with him to keep him sharp.

This was such a great experience and truly a worthwhile investment in learning how to better handle my two dogs. Jim was an excellent trainer and really takes the time to break down the training methods. He had immense patience with Penny and Daisy as well as with myself. He helps figure out the best tools for each dog, as what works for one may not work as effectively for the other and provided insight on how the dogs think and their process of understanding. I feel like I walked away with a much better foundation and the right tools on how to understand and communicate with my dogs. My only regret is not committing to a training service like this sooner. We cannot recommend Maximum K9 Service enough, especially Katie and Kayla, for their incredible training and care of our dog, Truffle. Truffle is a 5-year-old dog who has always been stubborn and, frankly, unfriendly. He is no friend to anyone besides me and my husband—he growls and barks whenever strangers come over to the house. He had even landed on the groomer blacklist at both PetSmart and Petco due to his behavior, which left us feeling hopeless.

However, after completing the 5-week board training with Maximum K9 Service, Truffle has become a completely different dog. Katie and Kayla are not only professional and knowledgeable but, more importantly, they are true dog lovers. They take the time to build trust and relationships with our dog through patience and genuine care. With their help, Truffle is now calmer, more responsive, and less reactive. It’s a transformation we never thought possible, and we couldn’t be happier.

Thank you, Katie and Kayla, for giving us the tools and guidance to live harmoniously with Truffle. We’ll forever be grateful for your dedication, professionalism, and love for what you do. Maximum K9 Service is the best decision we ever made for Truffle ❤️

P.S. Lastly, We also want to point out that there’s another training facility nearby, K9 Mania, but they are two different facilities and their training philosophy is very different.

We had Jim as our trainer over the course of 8 classes with our deaf Australian Shepard Dakota. We had come into the class originally to build confidence in our dog and train her on a vibrating collar. Over the course of 8 classes I can confidently say we left maximum canine extremely satisfied with our dogs ability to be recalled on a vibrating collar and have noticed significant strides in her confidence around other people as well as other dogs. Jim is Grade “A” trainer and I would recommend him to almost anyone who needs or is looking to put in work with their dog.

I brought my dog Solo for the 4 week board and train. I can’t say enough great things about his trainer Katie. She sent me videos and updates on how my dog was doing throughout the 4 weeks. My dog is a very nervous dog and she made sure to work on helping him come out of his shell as well as obedience. Everyone else working there including Brandon and Lexi were also really great with my dog. They really took care of him and made him feel loved. I would highly recommend Max K9. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my dog.

My golden retriever and I went to maximum canine for private lessons. Jimmy was our instructor . He was very caring and gentle with my dog. He was knowledgeable and patient . He has given us the tools to work on training in an effective manner. I would definitely recommend maximum canine and jimmy as a very qualified instructor. My golden is listening much better to me and I definitely see an improvement. This is an on going learning process . We will continue with the lifetime lessons at maximum canine. We also had Morgan for two lessons and she was very patient and helpful also.
