Iron Birch Advisors are Ameriprise Advisors. Ameriprise in primarily an insurance company, not a financial advisory firm. Iron Birch first attracted me with useful financial information, then tried to sell me an expensive insurance policy that I did not need. When I did not purchase the insurance policy, the essentially stopped delivering their agreed upon twice annual advisory sessions, meanwhile, they continued to charge a 1% fee to hold my IRA. I DO NOT recommend this agency.
