Have been doing my taxes here with no problem, decent price, staff is helpful. My one and only issue is the short hair women who deals with the payment and who I believe is the wife of the owner. Walked in today just to ask a question regarding a tax form. I just wanted help to understand the form nothing else… just some help and guidance. One lady was trying to help she was being nice and her comes the short hair lady with a nasty look on her face, doesn’t even know what the letter is abt and with an attitude tells me that the letter has nothing to do with them and they can’t help me and brushes me off.

I don’t understand why people feel the need to just be mean… there’s zero effort in just being nice and treating other people with respect. The office wasn’t busy no one was there I wasn’t bothering anyone just needed help and I would have paid for their time.

I’m sorry for whoever hurt that lady for her to always be on fight mode.

I’ll continue coming here cuz like I said I’ve had no other bad experiences

But I have seen this lady be mean and disrespectful to others. It’s a shame because the owner is also such a nice and sweet guy.

I have been filing with Mazorra for about 10 years now and i was very satisfied and considered them as friends & family, they cared a lot and that's what kept me loyal, all the Mazorras were a gem. Unfortunately the past 2 years, the service level has went down drastically, the lack of clear communication and misunderstandings have cost me a lot with IRS and because of the new attitude the front desk has (i am shocked at the sudden switch of personality in a once pleasant and patient lady), i am SCARED to even go there and get this fixed. with a sad heart, i will have to go elsewhere.

Front desk young lady . Apparently she was in charge of the book at the front desk to make sure you write your name etc. She has zero skills for the job she was disrespectful, mean, unprofessional and really aggressive with 99.9 of the people. She felt she can scream at you talk to you like she was your mom. Respectfully she looked and acted unstable very uncomfortable to be there waiting for hours and listen to her unprofessional way to communicate. At one point I thought she was the daughter of Mr Mazorra bc she had a huge ego and attitude that sometimes is expected when people have a business. I would like to clarify Mr Mazorra is a gentleman even when the place is pack he behaves impecable. Please look for someone else for the front desk position she is young, tall, medium size, white woman. She is no capable to handle the front desk position.

I highly recommend getting your Taxes done at Mazorra. Not only for taxes but they also handle you business needs, i.e. Liquor Licenses. Very honest and reliable. Great Staff as well.

I had a very bad experience while filing my taxes for the year! When I came for assistance to have my taxes prepared, the lady boss told me to come back after a week or rather they will give me call. I did not received a call, but instead I made a call to follow up. I arrived with the papers ready as per her instruction, then she told me, there is a missed date in the notary. She told me to fix it, which I did. I have to travel again and back to handed her the fixed paper. However she told me it was not, then I told her the notarial document was already done by the person who prepared it. She will not agree, then I told her I am your client for years why? She loudly say I don’t care even you are a client for 100 years! By this loud reply I feel bad on the manner she had told me that! She should have said it to me nicely in such a manner like treating a client with a nice and polite customer relationship. Then I left, as I was about to board a train back home, she called me up - saying “I am not preparing your tax returns, without any satisfactory explanation. I replied by saying it’s ok!
