My husband and I have had W. Coppola tax Service do our taxes for over 50 years. We moved to Mayville years ago and kept mailing our tax info because we were always very happy with your company. I just want to comment that the man that made the recorded message sounds like he is being inconvenienced and .Coppola's isn't the friendly place it was for so many years. I called to ask if I should include a certificate of death for my husbandjust a minute ago. I understand you people are busy thus this time of year. But I have been having a very hard time dealing with hisdeath. I asked the woman who took my call if I need to send a death certificate. I'm sorry to bother you with this. So that I don't inconvenience you people , starting next year I'll find someone down here to do my taxes. I gave you three stars for the many years before this year.

When our contact at another tax agency had a last-minute medical procedure, we were left looking for a new place for tax prep. After a friend raved about her experience with Ann Marie at Coppola Tax, I called. I ended up with Jeff. He didn’t introduce himself or ask my husband & I our names - no handshake. He engaged in no conversation with us and made a few sarcastic attempts at jokes. When I raised a question about my prior year’s filing status, he shrugged and said he’d have to see my records in order to comment. Here’s the thing....HE HAD THEM IN THE FOLDER IN FRONT OF HIM! My appt was 1.5 weeks ago. I was told he’d file electronically that evening, but the IRS website has no record of our return. After 2 calls, I learned that the our claim was “rejected” because Jeff spelled our name wrong. Seriously? I don’t understand how someone can be so abrasive, unprofessional AND be incompetent at the same time. I give this business 1 star because they offer complimentary cookies and coffee. That’s the brightest spot in our experience. I would’ve been better off at H&R Block.
