Lucas Hunt is the one person you want to run your auction. I have hired him for multiple events and will again. He was fully engaged throughout the entire planning process and prep for the events. At the events his style and intelligent approach brings hands in the air and makes it fun, exciting and entertaining. What's more, is that I believe he truly cares about every event he is part of. Not only have I hired him, but I have been to other events that he was working and he really takes the time to understand where the dollars go and makes it personal. I found Lucas 3 years ago and booked him for our charity auction. It was an expense for us but we learned at a fundraising conference that a good auctioneer can make or break your event. We were hoping for the former with Lucas and were not disappointed. Our typical cash ask would make us about $7000. In Lucas’ first year with us, he raised over $15,000! We hired him for another auction event we were doing and the numbers just kept going up. This September (2019), we raised over $28,000! That was definitely a record for us. Lucas has a grace about him that people are immediately drawn to. He didn’t know that much about us or our cause (autism) but he was able to speak from the heart and so eloquently about our families and the difference people could make by making a donation or purchasing an auction item. Lucas’ live auction skills are really unmatched. He can sell ice to an Eskimo.  His timing, cadence and knowledge all come together to raise the maximum amount for our organization. If you have the chance to work with him, don’t hesitate. You won’t be sorry.
