Michael North said he would do a simple job for us. He quoted a price and then strung me along for almost two months. I'd check in via email and phone periodically and he'd assure me he was going to get right to it and then drop off the planet again. Finally, after yet another call and email, he told me that the price was going to almost double because "it was going to be more complicated than I thought." I told him no way and called someone else who was completely respectful and professional, did the job the very next day, and had a lower price than North's original. It wasn't complicated at all--North was just going to rip us off--after almost two months of deep neglect. Unbelievable.

I called about getting a survey of my property. The surveyor called me back the same day that I left the message and explained that he was going to be busy the next day but to expect a e-mail the next day with the contract. That has been over 2 weeks now and I've left several messages and have yet to get a call back. I would at least a call back even if they were to busy to take on a new client.
