If you are looking for a management company DO NOT CONSIDER CHARTER. I agree with another reviewer when he said even one star is too much. We switched our managing company beginning of this year. We were so impressed with what was promised us. Unfortunately, it was all just talk. Our bills are not paid on time, we are being charged late fees and Charter takes no responsibility. They do not return Residents’ phone calls, they have no physical office and their attitude is rude and unprofessional. Not one thing has been accomplished since they took over in January. They haven’t even attended our monthly meetings per our contract but still want to get paid their monthly fe e which is the only thing they know how to follow up on. They have no clue how to manage properties or their clients.

I’m a resident and Board member at Eagle Ridge Condominiums. Charter Management has been our managing agent for over 20 years which speaks volumes. They are a family owned business and the staff is friendly, polite and extremely competent. They are always growing with technology and the needs of their properties and residents. If you are in the market for a property agent I highly recommend Charter Management.

Poor quality customer service/relations. When you call after 12PM the entire office takes lunch all at once. What sense does that make and how does that assist the people that are keeping them in business? Now they're working from home until 5PM, when you call at 4PM you can't get anyone and the answering service picks up for the message, no one returns the call then you must wait for the next business day. If you have fees to pay it will increase by the daily. It's like a scam, I need to pay "the seller's waiver of right of first refusal processing fee" at $250 from last week and still haven't heard from anyone. Every day afterwards the fee increases by $50. Sounds like a scam to me and mismanagement at it's best!

Charter management is a bunch of bullies all they do is give fake tickets to people for parking near their friends house and fail to resolve real issues. That is why people leave letters on other peoples cars taking about how bad it is and why people throw bags of dog droppings onto other peoples lawns and think it’s okay to trash the pool house with used dirty baby diapers. Their incompetence is so visible it is basically asking people to defy them at every turn. This is why we have crime and punishment, but instead we get nonsense parking tickets for doing things that inconvenience nobody. FINES SHOULD BE ISSUED IF THERE ARE ISSUES. One guy has $900+ dollars in fines and whatever it is for its not like it bothered us ever so it must be over exaggerated and a desperate attempt for Charter Management to squeeze money out of people for no reason. Literally everybody in the complex parks near cars or spots all the time the same people in the same spot because they’re friends with Joanne I’m only getting a ticket because I park near her friends house illegal camera on her front yard to spy on people and let her know when to ticket them

This management company is by far the best management company in all of Rockland County. They are super efficient, respond in a timely manner, and are extremely professional. I wish our condominium association had hired them years ago. You will NOT be disappointed by this company.

I've been trying to get someone to call me back for a week because I have a billing question and I have not heard back from them. Calls always got to their answering service, the only thing that they are good at is collecting HOA fees.

They rarely return calls, they do not respond to emails, forget about getting repairs done. They falsely document on their website that repairs have been done when they have not. This is fraud.
