A lot of the nurses could care less about you if ur alone in your room because they know no one is there to really watch them work, They could careless at there job when it comes to cleaning up and being sanitary, they treat the hall like there play ground during the night and could careless if u beep them one time they’ll take there precious time while u hear them joking around in the hallway. If you stay in this hospital stay supervised at all times because the moment they see u alone there job is over

Wonderful graduation services. This was pre Covid-19. The schedule was very well planned and executed. For the amount of students receiving degrees, it was an amazing use of time. It didn't feel rushed, but it moved at a good pace. Everything was clean, the indoor areas were well lighted.

I will not attend Stony Brook University ever again. The facilities are not maintained properly. For instance, the tables and the chairs are not clean. There should be both more undergraduate and graduate housing. The course registration process is complicated and it is hard to take the courses that you want because there is not much space for a lot of courses. There is a lacking number of professors. Why pay a high amount of money to this university if you are an international student? You should use that money to attend private university instead of public university.

The campus is amazing.... mostly surrounded by nature and stuff and is peaceful. But sometimes it becomes "over peaceful" and becomes pretty boring if you do not have your own transport to go somewhere fun!!

Horrible ER. More concerned with getting BP's than getting a doctor to see you. Was there for 3 hours with a broken arm never saw a orthopedic Dr. Was told they'll be down when they come down. Wanted to do bloodwork and give an IV For a broken bone. I came in with images of the break but of course they took more. They're more concerned about what they can bill your insurance than they are in fixing you up.

Great if your being treated by one of their top surgeons but if your an elderly or disabled patient their services is one of the worst. My disabled son has been in the hospital for 56days and they still dont know what he has. He came in walking, using the bathroom by himself. Now he's bed ridden and if you dont pay attention they'll leave him soiled for hours!! They forget to give his meds or give him the wrong dose. We,re afraid to leave him alone . Its been a total nightmare!

Great campus, 30 minutes indoor presentation followed by 1 hour 20 minutes walking tour. We visited the student living area, dining area, library, theatre and fitness center.
