I attended a seminar on trusts provided by Burner Law Group with the intention of setting one up for my father who had recently entered an assisted living facility. My father refused, but I decided it was the right thing for me. Nancy Burner of Burner Law Group answered all of my questions and arranged for the preparation of my documents, of which there were many. Upon my father's death in early 2020, I returned to Burner Law to handle his estate since he left no will. In 2022, I again returned to Burner Law when my brother died with a will written during a marriage that had since been dissolved and never rewritten. My three experiences with Nancy Burner and her staff at Burner Law Group have all been excellent. There is always clear and timely communication between us and I feel they have always conducted business with respect and confidentiality. I highly recommend them.

I am a customer of the Washwick Agency in Riverhead and I have a wonderful group of people there to help me with investing
and home insurance along with auto insurance. They helped us with emptying out our bucket list. Next was our wills which no one likes to talk about. So they recommend The Burner Law Group in West Hampton we made the phone call made an appointment and when we got there everyone in the office was so welcoming. We felt so comfortable we started the process right away. Then in the middle of all of it,I needed to get medicaid for my mom who had a stroke a year ago May and there firm also handles elder care. They where amazing they made the transition so must easier. Don't get me wrong I hand to do homework also but they made it better and easier. So they have several offices New York, East Setauket, West Hampton, and they are working on an office in East Hampton. I recommend this group highly. Kim Truman is the best!!! I had been to many elder law attorneys prior to meeting Kim. She was the only one that was able to put my mind at ease. I’m a very analytical person which can cause anxiety and stress because your mind never turns off. I found in meeting with Kim that I didn’t have to be overly analytical because she was thinking ahead for me. She would think of things I never even thought of and because of this I was able to let go of all the worry. I truly feel protected with her as my attorney, she is extremely intelligent, kind, empathetic and patient. My mind doesn’t stay up worrying anymore at night because I know that come what may she will be there to help me through, and will do so successfully!
