I am very happy with the services I received from Ascend Careers. At first I questioned whether or not I actually needed a career coach. That was until I met with Marcy Fletchall, and immediately I could tell that she was extremely knowledgeable about current markets in the career industry. Despite it being a tough market for shifting careers, she guided me through various methods on how to market myself as a vital candidate. I was connected with a career coach/resume writer with this company, and she wrote a resume that was purported to be ATS-friendly but still would not sell me effectively enough to get even to the interview stage. After speaking with the president of the company and being re-assigned to someone else, they concluded that they could not perform the task I paid them to do and simply issued a refund. I would not recommend this company to anyone due to such incompetence.
