A flight with Emirates from Los Angeles might not meet your high expectations. Despite paying more compared to Qatar Airways or Saudi Airlines, the service is average and not particularly outstanding compared to other airlines. If you’re looking for a luxurious experience or exceptional service, you might find that Emirates doesn’t offer enough to justify the extra cost.

We Have been flying Emirates for more than a decade but post COVID their service and the quality has become mediocre. I believe people still pay this price because of the short layover times. The check-in process was smooth, and the flight was on time, which I appreciated. However, the service onboard left a lot to be desired.

The cabin crew was polite but seemed rushed and not very attentive. They constantly update their business and first class seats but leave the economy seats decades old. The in-flight entertainment system was great in 2015. The touch screens were glitchy. The meal service felt rushed as well. The food was acceptable but nothing extraordinary (the menu remained the same for the last few years). It seems they were saving cost on repairs on the economy class and were eager to impress the influencers on their first and business class. I used to remember back in the days traveling in Emirates was a world class experience but sadly not anymore. Hope to see more improvements.

Will update after my next trip.

Top notch lounge for comfort, food and beverage selection! Makes stopping at LAX a pleasure!!!

The lounge itself has a great selection of hot and cold food, including fruits and deserts. Alcohol is self serve / pour so you can have a few before takeoff! The interior fit-out and seating is just excellent. There is also computer and printing facilities if needed. A pray room is also available.

This lounge is also used for Virgin Australia guests traveling through LAX.

WiFi is available in this lounge.

There is an ‘outside’ area for the lounge which looks over the main shopping area of LAX as well.

Strong recommend for those who have a layover at LAX.

WORST AIRLINE EVER!!! I have plans to protest on this airline for the mistreatment and racial discrimination they put on me. They pressured me a lot. Emirates food poisoned me and unfortunately have no hope and no care of the awards they earned. I can guarantee they will end up in the same level Lufthansa and United are and not in the level Qatar Airways and Singapore Airlines are. Emirates is declining.

Hi ,
We arrived to LA on 09 sept and after custom clearance , we dropped our bags at baggage transfer and flew to Las Vegas . On arrival to Las Vegas , one of my bag( EK655097) is missing out of two bags and emirates airline support team has not supported satisfactorily, since last 24 hours Emirates is not able to visit baggage transfer area at LA and locate the bags .

We have all the material in bag to set up our booth at trade show starting from tomorrow 11Sept 2024 and helpless in this situation .

Emirates LA Team is required to locate the bag and report Alaska airline team which is not being done in time , very worried about this situation .

I request to help us ASAP !

The economy is just ok. The business class is great. Unfortunately now they have tiers in Bz class that have limitations like no lounge access or drive to the airport. So even though you are paying big bucks, you will not get all the perks if it is a business special vs flex etc.

Really good lounge, probably the best in LAX. I've used a few of the other lounges and they don't really provide the quality of food or service, but this one hits the mark every time.

Given that it's so opulent, the visitors are quite respectful, and the choice of places to sit around the lounge should cater for everyone's needs.

I'd recommend coming here hungry, as the food is top notch, and the drinks cabinet full of variety.

You can even see the huge departures board outside the lounge, so you are never far away from a flight update.
