What a difference working with Mark Roberts and the Affinity team! My wife and I began investing over 35 years ago when in our mid 20's--yes, we are over 60 now. We worked with "traditional" investment advisors that met with us on a regular basis and sold us products. Then along came Mark, whom we met at one of his Social Security and Taxes presentations and we decided to listen some more. We were amazed!
Mark presented to us an investment strategy in a manner that we could easily understand, put forth in a logical manner and well supported. His numbers make sense--I can attest to that as an engineer with practice and knowledge of statistics. He always takes into consideration our financial perspective and priorities. Mark has educated us over the past 6 months and we now know more than we did after 35 years of following advice based on blind trust. We can now see what we are doing, why we are doing it, and where it is taking us. We are probably 5 years from retirement and we have more peace about it than we've ever had.
I'm not given to writing reviews but when someone deserves it then I do so with pleasure. If you are looking for a financial advisor give Mark a listen--it doesn't cost you anything and it can gain you a lot.

We switched in 2016 to Affinity after attending a seminar, our first meeting with Tom was totally over the top, he has our best interest at heart, we have met with him at least every 4 to 6 months, while their main office is In O.P. Ks. They have an office in Zona Rosa in K.C.north which is more convenient for us.
Tom listens to our needs while making sure our money is working hard for us. We highly recommend this firm.
Our youngest son even started using them last year,

Do your homework. After two years with Affinity they under-performed the market. They have a spiffy presentation and promise what I learned are exaggerated estimates. Their hours are difficult to work with for an employed person. After some push back on my part they convinced me to transfer my retirement account to their management and it lost a significant amount of value. Overall, after two years my money would have been far better off in a savings account. I highly recommend finding another money management team..
