I seldom take the time to right a review, but my experience with Kitra Schartz was worth taking the time to do so. Not being a resident of Manhattan for a while now, I contacted Kitra on the advise of a friend to see if they could represent me in my situation. It was an absolute pleasure working with Kitra as well as her assistant Kara. My case was handled professionally and timely and produced the outcome I was working for. If you or anyone you know needs the services this office provides look nowhere else. Kitra is on the top of her game and will most certainly work to get you the best results possible. I have used this firm (Kitra Schartz) several times and I couldn't be more pleased with the staff. All of the staff has been absolutely amazing. I cannot say enough good things about them and their willingness to go above and beyond to provide any assistance necessary to make this process easier to navigate. I know that each time I call, I will receive exceptional service. They genuinely care about my questions and concerns and they do everything they can to get them resolved. This prompt response time and caring attitude has proven to be a critical part of this process and I appreciate everything they do to make this process easier and more manageable.

Kara recognizes how important and time sensitive many items have been and has done a wonderful job getting answers to my questions quickly. I know I can count on Kara and the other staff members to be there when I need them and for that I am extremely grateful.

They were amazing and represented me first in an ex parte divorce and then the real thing that ended in a one day trial (Kitra Schartz was my attorney). She sucecssfully exposed squandering of assets by my husband, and guided me through a custody evaluation that my ex ordered and helped e understand the case from the Judge's POV. (no emotions just fact). Both came out in my favor, and because my ex "lost" over 600,000 I was awarded the house and residential custody. If you are divorcing a narcissist or BPD/ bi polar person - she is good. Our tactic was to just stick with the truth! (although I must say that was easy in our case as my ex had done so many crazy things, sent crazy e-mails etc so we had ample material to work with). My only pet peeve is that my lawyer sometimes answered the phone or checked texts while in a meeting with her and that is no small matter when you are paying someone $150 per hour. But what you want is someone who can ARGUE IN COURT and think on their feet and that is what I was impressed with the most (Kitra Schartz).

If you like being charged at every given opportunity, this is the place to go. Felt very much that the representation was less than equitable or fair. Integrity....what is that Never ever again and i will caution everyone i come i to contact with about this office. After the fact, i have had many people tell me their own bad experiences. Wish i would have known.
