I am a senior at Mill Valley High School and am preparing for college. I am someone who really struggles with test taking, and Hannah’s tutoring was a game changer for me. I had a very average ACT score but needed to get a higher score to qualify for the next level of the scholarship I wanted. In order to do this, I needed to really work on my math and science portions. I was feeling very hopeless after taking the ACT and receiving a less than satisfactory score. I thought it was going to be impossible for me to get the score I wanted. After meeting with Hannah, she made me believe that I could reach my goal. She explained and wrote out every question I didn’t understand thoroughly, and taught me several concepts and strategies that were extremely helpful. She never made me feel stupid and genuinely cared about me understanding each problem. After only meeting with Hannah 5 times over 5 weeks, I had raised my practice test scores tremendously and was feeling very confident. I took the ACT and received an even higher score than my goal, raising it by 4 points which will consequently save me thousands of dollars in tuition. I seriously recommend Hannah to anyone looking for a ACT tutor.

My Power Prep, Inc. experience was outstanding! My tutor was Hannah and she always helped me with anything I needed and always was friendly! In addition to be nice, she helped me improve my score four points. This score increase saved me over thirty thousand dollars college tuition per year. I couldn’t recommend tutoring sessions, or act prep classes through Power Prep more!

Both of our daughters worked with Powerprep to improve their ACT scores. Our oldest daughter (now a college senior) was able to increase her score significantly and was able to achieve a score that put her in the next round of scholarship opportunities. The money we spent on her sessions with Powerprep came back to us in increased scholarships many times over. She completed a class with Carolyn as well as several individual tutoring sessions. Our youngest daughter will be a high school junior and increased her initial ACT score by 8 points after working with Powerprep. She is only one point away from the next tier of scholarships at the college she has chosen. She will continue to work with Carolyn and Emma and I am confident she will reach or exceed her goal of a 32...and save us a lot of money during her college career through higher scholarship amounts. Maybe the dream vacation my husband and I have waited to take until our kids were out of college can happen much sooner!

Carolyn and Emma at Power Prep are simply outstanding. Their commitment to detail and the passion they showed to help our son improve was terrific. Their processes made it fun for him to learn. He felt confident and well prepared going into the test and it showed by him blowing past his score expectations. Our daughter was able to increase her ACT score by 3 points in just a few months by working with Emma Devane which has enabled her to be a solid contender for the colleges in which she is interested. Emma worked with her on the problems she didn't understand and helped her feel comfortable with the test itself.
