I just had my second visit to Hobart Bay Alaska to be with Hosts, Dave and BJ. Flying into Petersburg and seeing the massive snow covered mountains is awe inspiring. I did have a few apprehensions before going on this trip, such as "what would it be like to sleep on their boat the OZ, would I get bored being in such a remote area".
Dave and BJ met me to start our journey on the OZ. I was immediately put at ease, they were so welcoming and the OZ was much more spacious than I anticipated. There is no time for boredom because you are constantly amazed by the beauty of Alaska. Seeing Whales and Orcas spouting and breaching is a spectacular sight. It was great entertainment seeing Sea Lions lying on the banks and making their growley noise. Watching Seals swim along side the OZ as if they are chasing you and wanting their picture taken. I have always loved the sound of Eagles, seeing them soar in the sky just fills you with joy.
Seeing the Glacier and the Ice fields is truely a magical moment. The color of the ice in the water has such clarity and they are like floating pieces of Art.
One of many highlights was fishing. I had very little experience with fishing. Dave is an expert at knowing the fishing spots. He baits the line for you, is very patient in showing you what to do. I caught a 30lb Halibut, it was so thrilling to reel in a fish that size. I was also mesmerized watching Dave expertly fillet the fish. What a bonus taking that much Halibut home!
The meals BJ prepared were delicious. She made the most beautiful and tasty Cinnamon Rolls I have ever had.
It's hard to believe the speed in which every day goes by, you just never want it to end.

This was the trip of a lifetime! I was a little nervous about being so far off grid, like I’d miss something or not have enough food. I was concerned about bobbing around in the ocean for days BUT, everything was so wonderful!! B.J. & David have mastered this experience. We had amazing fresh meals every day. I could always see land, the most beautiful views of tree-covered & snow-capped mountains, glaciers & icebergs. The boat had plenty of room & was perfectly warm & cozy. I always felt safe! Cruising inside the passage & bays of S.E. AK felt like I was seeing something only a few people ever have or will experience. We saw whales, eagles, otters, orcas, sea lions & a bear ( at a distance ?) The on-shore excursions were magical with moss-covered forest, & meadows covered in wildflowers. The fishing was AMAZING! I brought home enough to fill my freezer. This experience left me feeling so blessed, peaceful, grateful & refreshed ❤️ If you’d like to have your own private tour of S.E. BJ is amazing. I have had her speak before at my networking group and I have attended a couple of her workshops online. BJ's "Are You My Flock" personality profiling is a fun way to learn how to work with different personalities. Her teaching has helped me in my business and life. I highly recommend taking any of the workshops she offers or attending her retreats! If you need a speaker your attendees will enjoy and find your event very valuable when you have BJ speak!

We hired BJ to come into Elite Collision Center, in Battle Ground Washington, and teach our staff "Are You My Flock?" concepts. I have to tell you it was worth every penny and more that we paid for her expertise.

You can take a million different personality tests, but barely remember a thing a week later. The way BJ engages everyone (even the quietest heron in the room) to take part, makes it so that a person can't help but understand the different personality types. It has helped connect with our staff to our customers better. New staff feels at ease far faster because when we introduce new people to each other, we let them know each other's type! Our whole staff refers to people's their primary bird type when describing someone. We all understand that it takes all kinds of birds in the flock, and we all speak different languages, overall tension has been reduced.

If you are lucky enough to catch her while she is traveling through your neck of the woods, don't be afraid to reach out! She is very affordable because she piecemeals all of her content out. You don't have to commit to a huge budget, but she is also available for that, if that is what you need.
