When Axiom Healthcare took over Family Health and Rehab in Wichita, KS, the level of care went down dramatically.. Highest attrition at any company that I've ever personally witnessed in all levels (Dir of Nursing, Accounting, Dir of Nutrition, new cooks, CNAs and RNs every time you walk in the door - so no continuity of care. Fresh food and the smell of freshly baked bread and pies made from scratch were replaced with frozen packaged food. The patio area originally had beautiful landscaping with roses and shrubs that attracted loads of butterflies and hummingbirds. That has now all been replaced with rocks.
. Regarding the CEO, Chance B, I sent him a letter to compliment an employee years ago, and 2 other letters of concern about my mother's care (all by the US post - not email) and also called and left message 3 times but he never gave my family the respect of returning a call or acknowledging my letters of concern.
And yet, out of the blue, I received a completely unsolicited email from
Chance B, the CEO, that was the most defensive and condescending letter I have ever received. He stated "just know we love your mother and want what's best for her. In that sense, we are all on the same team....Kinda cool."
You love her? Sir, you've never taken the time to even meet her. And
"kinda cool" -- this type of language from a CEO?! He wants what's best for her? He did nothing when mother's room flooded due to poor construction. He offered no guidance whatsoever when there was a soaked towel in the window sill in her room because her window leaked for 10 months until it was finally fixed. Who would want to be part of this kind of team? Axiom's motto is "ILEE Improving Lives, Exceeding Expectations." They do neither. You will fight to the finish for proper care for your loved one,. Maybe the CEO thinks that ok - and "kinda cool" but I do not. Due to these facts, I cannot in good faith recommend any Axiom Healthcare Facility. Find another place for your loved one to live and/or recuperate. They are over priced, under staffed and full of excuses and attitude and very short on results.

I worked for this company for years and if I hadn't got sick I would still work for them. It is a great company to work for and the best place for the clients, they get the best of the best if they go here for their rehabilitation.
