Went here when I was on spring break with some friends. We thought we should go golfing because Florida golf is really good. We were wrong. This course is hot garbage. We pulled in and we saw that it was a part of a country club and so we got excited. As you can see by the pictures, the excitement quickly faded. I don’t like leaving reviews but I feel like I got robbed by paying over $50 to play this round of golf. Hitting the fairway was like hitting off a cart path. The greens had what was like a bunker on them, and a ton of holes for the ball to bounce on and be redirected. I have played on punched greens many times and it’s never the most enjoyable experience, but playing on punched greens would seem like playing at Augusta national in comparison to this place. I would say you should play it if you don’t care about money.

Personnel at the course are friendly and helpful. The rate was reasonable for Florida based on the condition of the course. Most greens were in poor shape but they seemed to be getting greener.

Played the Preserve today as an annual visit to neighbors of the course.
The last few years have been challenging for the property due to storms weather cycles and apparently Management decisions. The layout is great and as with any property, there are always areas to repair, upgrade or maintain.
I have seen the course over the past 5 or 6 years and enjoy playing there. Several of the greens have been redone and are getting very well established. Unfortunately, a number of greens are really in need of a similar redo. The hope is that in the coming seasons, the greens can be refurbished. Overall it was a challenging round that we enjoyed.

Just played today. We read all the negative reviews and still decided to play. Honestly was supremely surprised… yes it was bad at spots, but you pay $20 for 18 holes right now (cheap!) and it was worth just that. If you want perfect tee boxes and greens, go play the $120 round at the club. We saw at least 5-6 different green keepers working on the course. The course is laid out beautifully, and yes it needs some tender loving care, but for the price you won’t find a better value. Front desk was super friendly, starter was nice too. Only saw one other group, so pace of play was at our leisure. Saw a gator and lots of neat birds. Lost probably 8 balls to the water, cause there’s water on every hole. Back nine has 2 greens that are being reseeded, those greens are just in the fairway now, so that was hard putting. Tee boxes were decent. I hope management continues putting effort back into this course, because it could be a great track to play again. 4 stars because they seem to be trying to bring it back.

Wish I had read the reviews before we played there today. Everything written is accurate. Tee boxes are virtually non existent… greens are obstacle courses. I don’t understand what is going on there and how it can be in such poor condition and still be in operation.

If I could rate this a negative I would. This place is more of a goat farm than a golf course. Worst course I have ever played. Hopefully you catch the mole on the green with a the trap that’s placed on the green. Absolutely a disgrace you call this a golf course.

I have never seen a course that is open for business in this bad of shape. Every green in the picture looked like that or worse. The fairways look like they haven’t been taken care of at all in months. The tee boxes were trash as well. Showed up early in the morning before my teetime so I can get some practice in on the range and they didn’t have any range balls. No beverage cart on the course. Their golf carts are on their last leg. Charged me $58 to play here. I will never come back. The current state of this course is such an embarrassment and for them to charge any money at all to play here is mind blowing. šŸ—‘ļø

We haven’t golfed at many places here in Florida yet. This course has many challenges and the scenery is amazing. The course is challenging and yes water on almost every hole. Only negative is the greens are rough but you can tell they are working on getting them back into shape. I definitely will play this course again.
