Yesterday, I observed a very disturbing situation. I watched an elderly woman walk out of Office Depot pulling a moving dollie behind her. She was very frail, it was hot, humid, in the middle of the day. I walked up to her and asked her if I could help. I'm grateful she said yes. While we walked to her car slowly in the heat, I learned a lot about her. She's a regular customer and her birthday is next week. She will turn 100 years. I told her she was my inspiration. We talked about her son and grandson. I shared my children and grandchildren with her. I was honored to help her. I loaded the dollie into the back of her car, then made sure she got into her car ok. I offered my phone number to her in case she needed a ride somewhere
but she politely declined. I made mention of putting on her seat belt and waited for her to leave. I couldn't believe she still drove. I gave her my blessings and wished her well and a Happy Early Birthday. After that I went into the store and spoke with BIANCA. I mentioned my encounter with this fragile woman and BIANCA stated to me, "Yes, she's a regular customer". My response to her was, it really bothered me that NOT A SINGLE EMPLOYEE STEPPED UP TO HELP THIS WOMAN TO HER CAR. In addition, I said we need to do Better as a Community and help our Elder Generation. It's the Principle of things. Bianca's attitude and demeanor was totally unprofessional and unacceptable. Telling me "Well I'm glad you were there", clearly demonstrated her lack of empathy and compassion. My reason for this post is to share my life experience with you in hopes that more people will step up and help their community. I'm grateful that God put me into this woman's path at the right moment and at the right time. I am forever grateful for having met this woman. A simple act of kindness goes very far.

I went in after work for just a wireless mouse. I left with an amazing customer service experience. Anthony was so happy and polite. Brought me directly to what I was looking for, asked if I had any questions. Once I grabbed what I needed, he cashed me out quickly. It’s refreshing to go into a store and have an associate happy to see you, happy to help. He brought such a positive light to what seems like a quick dull task at the end of my day. I’ve worked in customer service for almost 20 years and associates like that, are hard to come by. The store is clean and organized. All around great experience, thank you Anthony!

Office Max Inverness - very helpful staff. Made use of printer, scanner able to send material via email; all with easy at machine credit card payment. Services not available everywhere else.

Worst customer service I've ever had. Associates would rather stand around and talk rather than completing orders. For printing services use Vista print, they are cheaper and just as fast or faster. The website says 20 min the store refuses to comply. Management is rude and corporate management refuses to speak to customers. Office max does not care.
