I wosh incoukd give 0 stars. I am updating my review today after the comments I recieved from this establishment. I will not be talked to like a child. I won't be threatened with eviction after calling the company and telling them my situation and asking for forgiveness and time. Been a pretty good tenant for just 2 years now. For this area probably one of the best tenants they have had in this building ever. The shoe this place was in when I showed up was crazy. Water wants on. Heat wasn't on. Power wasn't on. Doors were locked when I arrived at 2 am. Had to sleep in a hotel for 4 days over Christmas because this place wasn't even ready for me to move in. After rushing me to get here prior to our agreement. I see why now why they rushed me in here so bad.

Century Property Management has been a major disappointment and has quite a few flaws and are listed as such below:

1. Most of the staff is pretty disrespectful, unforgiving, and treat you like you are 5yrs old. Been a perfect tenant for 2years and paid everything I should on time and then threaten to evict me and my partner with my newborn child because the house wasn't up to their standards when it was mostly just cluttered as we work 2 full time jobs and are new parents.
2. Service orders hardly get addressed and resolved, have still a few that are not done today
3. The people they do send out to do the service orders don't actually resolve the issue and could care less about it. I actually had a gentleman come into my home and only take 2min to take a look at the problem and say there is no issue. When addressed with Century they said they would send someone else but instead didn't send anyone.
4. Quality of the buildings being rented out are poor. We freeze almost every winter because there is no seals on the doors and windows and when addressed it was a tenant responsibility even when the home comes at such low quality. The technology that's used to heat the home is outdated and costs more money than it's worth to run.
5. Getting any deposit back is and will be impossible, if you have replaced anything unoriginal (better or same as quality as the original) they will bill you an unnecessary and extraordinary amount.

I am not the only one with these issues, not only in the reviews, but have family and friends with the same complaints, hope Century makes a major change but will not recommend or use in any near future.

Our family moved into our home last year, and the whole thing start to finish was great! We worked with Becky and Marquee and Anita at times and we’ve never had a problem. We have a home and a place of peace and safety!! Maintenance is always quick to respond to our needs and just nothing bad to say. They always have smiles on their faces. They do a very thankless job. I’m not sure if tenants actually just randomly thank them, I do. From the bottom of my heart. We have a home because of them!!

Never had any issues renting from them. The receptionists and property managers are all very nice and respectful. They can also help you buy a home when you are ready.

I think it is disingenuous to blame me for bad tenants. I accepted the tenants based on Century's recommendation. Century told me that they did a thorough background check. Yet in the first month, the person, (manager of Sunset Inn) with the good credit moved out (did he even move in?) and his two clearning ladies proceeded to NOT pay rent for the next 3 months and stole everything from the house except the kitchen appliances. I will add that I was also disturbed by Century offering my house for sale to someone with NO money after I told them I was no longer interested in renting the property due to the extreme issues I had with the tenants Century recommended. We were not interested in selling the house - and Century did not consult with me prior to offering the house to someone.

Decent place to live if you want to live with people who smoke weed all day and it smells like cigarettes constantly. Other than that friendly management and had a good experience. But will never rent from this company again.

I would have to say there is one lady named Becky, was very rude and vulgar with no customer service skills. I have never been treated so terrible. It's a good thing another staff stepped in to help with patience and answered all our questions. Renting can be a confusing thing with all the fees and fine print. If you cant be helpful you shouldn't be in a position where you serve others. I'm an active member in the Alamosa community and shared my experience, only to hear that this woman was a former employee of the Alamosa housing authority. I was informed during her position she also treated people badley and talked bad about people and judged them for there financial situations. I may be ranting about my experience today. It's a terrible thing to be so awfull to others. I was informed there have been many reports against this person yet she continues to behave so terribly and continues to be employed at Century property. I give one star becuse one bad apple ruins the whole bag.
