I spoke to my uncle James and he said he's been going to B & W since the 70s and since he moved to Huntsville Tx after he retired, he still makes that drive once every few months to stock the freezer..
It being my first time going 11/27/2024 was an 90 min wait considering it's before Thanksgiving, but I bought everything I was looking for and a few other items.
I will definitely go back in a few weeks.

Get your Fresh Meat here . It’s a long drive for me. But I get quality meat . This about to be my favorite meat shop they got everything I need , the people were so helpful even if it’s not on the shelves it’s at the back just ask.

The store was absolutely the cleanest I’ve seen a meat market. They are pretty busy though but that says a lot about a company and its product/service. If you have time, you should definitely go there. Just make sure to pull a number or you wont get serviced.

This was the first time my husband and I came to this meat market. Let me just say this, we were beyond pleased. The young lady that helped us, Ms. Alexis was ASTOUNDING! Every time I go there, I will be looking for Alexis. She truly made our visit enjoyable. There is a variety of fresh meat to choose from, and she took her time to make sure we had the best pick. I’m very sick & tired of supporting people who continue to be rude for no apparent reason. Upon calling prior to thanksgiving, I was spoken to very rudely by a woman who answered the phone while I inquired about turkey wings. Because they were the only people who still had them in stock so I had to support but it bothered me so much to do to. Understandably, I’m thinking maybe everyone is calling and possibly the store is filled with last minute shoppers like myself so I shopped anyway.

Fast forward to today… I want turkey wings again so before taking a 45 min drive, of course I call & asked “hi, are you guys still carrying turkey wings” .. she pauses and answers yes & I thank her. Before hanging up she continues with “wow” and proceeds to mock me verbatim to whomever she is discussing this with.

If I had called back, I’m sure she’d go back and forth with me. JUST DO BETTER! no one wants to support these smug attitudes all the time & it’s highly unnecessary. Put her in the back with no interactions to customers because it’s always something! Unfortunately, I’m sending my partner there so I won’t be addressing this face to face but I will definitely be in search of different meat market to frequent.

Great meat market to visit. They have everything you need and more you didn't even know you needed. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Everyone makes sure you're well taken care of.

This is my go to spot to grab some Deer Sausage and Tea Cakes. They don't make the tea cakes here but you can purchase them by the register compliments of Uncle Honey (that's who makes them). The only thing I don't like is the number pulling system, but I understand there could be confusion without the numbers with who was there first. Other than that you can request how you want your meat cut and wrapped at no extra charge. It's just like the old meat market back in day that our parents used to shop at. I like to buy my meat in bulk and worry about the sides later! You can always find sides!
