Just bought Egwusi soup from here through Uber it today 12/13/2024 , the soup was burnt no taste just burnt soup and they have the mind to serve someone such a nasty soup , and when you call the store they never answer.

I order from this restaurant once a day and I am completely obsessed. The food is always made hot & fresh and my order is always made within 5 minutes. The meat is plentiful as well, and I always get more food than I can finish. The turkey comes stewed on top and the plantain is soft as well as the rice. I would recommend this place to anyone that lives in Houston as a choice for Nigerian Cuisine. You will not be disappointed.

I purchased this yam chips and to my disbelief, this is $15 plus tax nearly $20 at a gas station plus it was burnt and the most upsetting thing I also purchased soup with no chicken and it the soup came with all chicken. The ticket pacifically said no chicken and he recommended beef or fish. I called and the person I spoke to said that he wasn’t the one that did the food but he will send me my refund. I’m waiting to see if it comes if it doesn’t I’ll have an updated review.

I just ordered egusi with poundo yam. Soup is nasty, smells burnt. N they even had the mind to serve me a soured n spoilt fufu. Common this is our native food we know how it taste. Worst store ever. I trashed it. $39 wasted.

I’ve had plenty of Shawarma both in Nigeria and Houston. This shouldn’t come out of anyone’s kitchen! Who sends a burnt product out of their restaurant for a customer to eat!

This clearly shows this restaurant doesn’t care about quality. Now I have to spend money somewhere else after waiting a very long time for this.

I would give a negative rating if I could.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. This is hands down the worst place to get food and by far the worst restaurant experience I've ever endured. Not only did they give me the wrong order, but they also had the audacity to charge me $56 for a plate of soup with just two pieces of goat meat and a single shawarma. Mind you, there was no assorted meat in the soup and I didn’t order a side of goat as stated in the receipt. I asked for a protein substitute. Any Nigerian will tell you this is an absolute rip-off, especially for a restaurant that's located inside a gas station. After realizing the error, I had to return the order, and to add insult to injury, they told me there’s no refund. Utterly unacceptable and a complete disappointment.

Yes got ripped off by the portion and no dine in available . Okra seafood soup 2 shrimp 1 lonely muscle a flake of fish half of blue crab clusters but the food is hot and flavorful. Now with the goat meat tough tough tough 2 Pieces

I ordered the Jollof rice and Efo riro with assorted meat and it tasted just really good. Great customer service and delivery was very fast.
