Went for a specific pair of shoes that only had stock in this store. When I arrived to the register I did the sign up for text and emails for the 10% off. After this step I only received a code for online use not in store as it states on the sign of the register. The guy was super nice and helpful but when he asked for help Jamila came and was extremely rude and said nothing we can do and hurry us to pay. We ask for a manager because is a glitch on their system why I need to pay more? she went to supposedly talk with him and came back 1 minute after stating there’s nothing they can do. Again SUPER rude didn’t want to help us I don’t know what’s wrong with her but don’t work in customer service if you hate people please. Today I received the code. After the purchase. Really suspicious

Customer service could use some work. The store associates were all standing around the customer service desk (5 associates) and not on the floor helping customers. I even went over to the area where the handguns were located, and the guy wouldn't even make eye contact. Mind you, there's no one in the store. Sad, really sad.

Great place for all sporting needs. I visit frequently for fishing tackle and the occasional new rod or reel when they are on sale or better clearance. Got my latest pole on my last visit with this Lew's Mach Smash spinning combo that was on clearance for $48!

Also get a lot of softball equipment and items for my daughter's all throughout the year at Academy. Store is always clean and staff is always very friendly and helpful.

I came in angry about a return and he took care of it for me, left with the situation being resolved promptly.

Picked up my order for 1hr round trip and only got one shoe for each size. Shipping label isn’t available on the app/website for return by mail so I had to return it to the store.
After returning the items at the store, the amount of money that I received for refund was less than what I paid.
Talked to the rep almost 20 mins just to take care of the difference and no offer to make it right.
First and last time shopping with Academy.

Love coming here to either shop for what I need fishing wise or to even just browse around. The staff are really nice and very knowledgeable. I always learn something new when I come here! Not to mention they have a great selection of kayaks for a great price!
