Low Cost Tax & Legal Typing has been a nightmare to say the least to do business with. If you like paying for your taxes to be done and come tax deadline and they’re still not done after paying for them in full a month ago then Tr* is exactly who you need because that is what she has done. She will yell at you, curse at you, and hang up on you when inquiring about the status of your taxes. In her yelling, she will make statements that you are ruining her business just because you ask where she is at with completing the taxes. She will tell you to schedule a phone appt to discuss the status of your tax preparation and then refuse to schedule an appt with you. She will call you out of no where asking if you are dating her ex boyfriend’s friend- that was crazy weird. She will send Venmo requests to borrow money-another crazy weird thing that you would never experience from a reliable business with ethical values. She will also make an error on your taxes and then request additional payments to fix her errors. She will claim she has filed an amended tax form and after calling IRS, find out she never filed anything although she received full payment for filing. She will convince you to pay an additional amount to expedite processing with the IRS, which is not something that is within the scope of a tax preparer. She will call yelling demanding payment be sent prior to providing the services. She will do your Federal taxes leaving off all the deductions you provided and not complete the State return at all but claim she has done the work and refuse to provide a refund. She will talk about you and your taxes with other clients. Every time you talk to her she claims she is professional but the experience with Tr* has been the farthest from professional it literally has been nightmare that seems to never end and only gets worse the more you try to resolve issues with her. She will text you at 4:00 am in the morning/what business does that? She will call you for an insignificant reason and keep you on the phone talking about her personal life- why would you need to know anything personal about your tax preparer? Then later will use the fact that she shared personal information with you as a way to convince you to trust her when you question what’s going on with your taxes although you never once inquired about her personal life. All of these things occurred with me, some of my family members, and friends. The sad part is if she actually did what she was paid to do she does it well but if she never does it then it doesn’t matter how good she is at doing it. I hope my post saves some people from making the mistake I did when hiring Tr*** to do taxes.
