The coaches and students made me feel right at home even though I was just dropping in. Brandon is a phenomenal instructor and even took time to work with me, a visiting student, on something I had been working on. If you live around the Decatur, AL area; this is the spot to train!

I'm a blue belt that stayed up here for work so I trained here during that time. I attend only 3 classes. The people were friendly and respectful and so the professor (Brandon - assuming he's a black belt, I never asked).

There's not formal warm up. One of the classes I attended had a slight warm up but that was it. The whole hour class is just that - a class with open mat to follow. I attended classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I'm not sure what they do on the other days.

I enjoyed my time here and would recommend them to others in the area.

They love their leg entanglements so watch out.

Dropped in for a class since I have some time off work and my regular gym is close this week for Christmas and new years. Great group of people, very tough and skillful. All were a pleasure to roll with. Very solid, easy to comprehend coaching and a clear structure. Staff was friendly. Enjoyed it for sure. Would like to come back again sometime

I took a vacation from work and drove 650 miles to come visit 10th Planet Decatur for a few days. Worth it! What a great gym.

I made it to five classes during my stay. All the teaching (from the head honcho Brandon and also from the assistant coaches) was clear and sharp and useful. I appreciated the fact that there was a continuing theme from day to day.

Everybody was really friendly and brought me right into the fold. Even more than that, I got the sense that they were really decent, high-quality people overall, not just as far as jiu jitsu.

I don't know when I'll be back, because, hey, it ain't easy to just hop in the car and drive across the country, but I'm sure glad I went.

Coming from a renowned gym in Atlanta, I can confidently say that 10th planet Decatur would be one of the top gyms in Atlanta as well as most other large cities in the US. It exceeds anything you would expect from a small town like Decatur. Brandon is an excellent instructor, but beyond that he is an excellent person. I think the secret is his kindness and positivity that motivates everyone there to be such a strong team.

I have known Brandon since the beginning of my jiu jitsu journey. I first saw an Eddie Bravo seminar at his school. He's an excellent instructor, a great person, and he knows all the little details you didn't know were there. If you're having trouble deciding where to go..go try a class at this gym. The facility is as amazing as the staff! You will love it.
